I Lavatoi

In the historical centre of Casal Velino an apartment that has recently been sympathetically renervated conserving original characteristics in a rustic style, the attic of which has been finished in wood and the furniture includes iron beds. Independent access to street level, in front of an old village wash area, which in the past was used as the only access to water and was used daily by the housewives as a laundry. The structure is split into two levels: on the first floor there is a large main double bedroom with balcony, bathroom and living room/kitchen; on the second floor there is a single bedroom with bed-settee for two, separate bathroom and access to the terrace and panorama. The spacious panorama of the green hills and olive trees within the valley of Alento upto the sandy coast of Marina di Ascea and Casal Velino and also the gulf of Velia and in the distance the promontary of Palinuro.
