Zio Cristoforo

The farm house `Zio Cristoforo` is found just outside of Casal Velino Marina at the slope of the hill to Casal Velino. The structure offers a most hospitable dining room, warmed by a log fire, and with ample space outside to consume the delicious dishes whilst admiring the panorama along the sandy beaches of Casal Velino and Ascea, dominated by the majestic Tower that rises from the nearby archaeological area of Velia. To stay in the farm house, there are 4 double bedrooms, which can be used for bed and breakfast or half board; the bedrooms are furnished in a way as to promote comfort in a rustic style. Each room has an ensuite bathroom , heating, portico and terrace. There is also 100m away a lovely pool with solarium.The vast and colourful garden rich in fruit trees and flowers, cultivated for decades by the Crescenzo family with care and experience. The owner and the land offer the material to offer typical traditional cuisine, such as handmade pasta, ravioli, lagane, fusilli, roast meats and fantastic wines, local sweets and seasonal fruit. Also available to purchase are olive oil, cheese, jams and vegetables preserved in oil.
